Refund policy for The Dunham Farm

Regarding the sale of live animals

There are absolutely no refunds once payment is received. Make sure this is the purchase you want to make before making payment.

There is a lot of time and energy invested up to the point of sale and then after the sale great deal of information will also be shared depending on the animal/ bird for care and maintenance and animal husbandry issues. That is the accumulation of decades of expertise and considered trade secrets of success in this industry.

A large part of our business is consulting.  Having taught poultry and animal science for 37 years.. please  understand it's the information we share immediately upon sale... and the ongoing consulting we offer... is one of the most valuable assets we offer apon sale of any of our animals.

Certainly the animal or the bird itself and the quality of genetics and animal husbandry we offer is of great value as well.


Regarding our animals/birds :

We can only guarantee that they are in good health while they're under The Dunham Farm care. As soon as they leave the farm that guarantee ceases. We have no control over what happens to an animal during transportation or in the care of another after they leave the farm.


Regarding Reservations:

Whether booking a reservation for a tour to the Dunham Farm Wildlife Park or booking the petting zoo or any type of event/activity on or off site for the Dunham Farm...

Up until 72 hours before your reservation, you can call and ask to reschedule your reservation and The Dunham farm staff will do their best to reschedule for another time if that is available (no refunds).

No rescheduling or refunds will be granted within 72 hours of a reservation, unless The Dunham Farm must close down for any reason. Eg: bad weather. In which case The Dunham Farm will issue rain checks for a later visit.

Further, Saturday appointments are in such high demand that any changes must be requested in a verbal conversation directly with the owner a minimum of two weeks prior to the date of the reservation. (Text email and voice messages will not be considered) The resolution of verbal request will be followed up in writing. Again, The Dunham Farm staff will make their best effort to accommodate a change to a future date.

Due to the extremely high demand of dates around a holiday or school vacation dates, there are no changes or refunds when booking any time the week before or after a holiday or school vacation date.
